APM Terminals is looking for an HSE supervisor role. They are a global terminal operator with a team of over 20,000 employees across more than 60 countries. Key responsibilities for the HSE Supervisor role:
- Work 12-hour shifts (Day/Night)
- Conduct regular safety audits, and ensure compliance with federal, state, local and environmental regulations about employee health, safety and the environment.
- Administer risk management programs, including ensuring good standard operating procedures are available for every task.
- Apply problem-solving tools to get to the root causes of safety issues and propose countermeasures to mitigate them.
- Ensure the daily VM boards are updated and soft copies maintained on TEAMS.
- Monitor and close out all observations captured on Leader-Led Gemba & Critical Control Assessments.
- Coordinate safety drills, assess responses and proffer improvements.
- Ensure every person assessing the terminal is properly inducted and conforms to set standards.
