Staying healthy will increase your life. When you live healthily, you become alive for yourself and put things in place. Some unhealthy lifestyles will jeopardize the need for you to live longer.
#2. To stay alive for your loved ones.
We all need to stay alive for our loved ones, wives, kids, sisters and brothers. Our loved ones make us happy. And we always want to be around them and create memorable memories with them. No one will be happy when the life of their loved ones are cut short due to preventable unhealthy actions.

However, as you have seen the reasons for staying healthy, below are things a worker needs to do to stay healthy.
HOW TO STAY HEALTHY AS A WORKER
#1. EAT HEALTHY.
Watch what you eat when you want to eat. Don’t eat those foods that are not good for your body. Healthy eating involves choosing the right foods and knowing when to eat them.
Ensure that your food is balanced enough to give you the right proportion of nutrients to keep your body healthy.
Avoid eating foods such as processed red meat, limit the intake of sweetened drinks and ensure you eat before 7 pm to allow your food to digest properly before bedtime.
#2. DRINK ENOUGH WATER.
How much water is enough for a day? Recommended daily water intake is 2.7 litres (11.5 cups) for women and 3.7 litres (12.5 cups) for men.
The human body contains 50 to 70 per cent of water and depends on water for survival.
Water does a lot for the human body, helps get rid of waste through urination, perspiration and blood movement and maintains your body temperature .lack water in the human body will cause those functions of fluid in the body to suffer.
#3. EXERCISE VERY WELL.
Doing exercise will promote your health. A 10-minute walk a day can be an exercise for you. When you exercise, ensure you take enough water to replenish the lost one from perspiration.
#4. AVOID SMOKING.
There is a slogan on cigarette packs that says, Smokers are liable to die young.
Smokers often neglect this when smoking. In truth, smoking introduces more than 5000 chemicals into the human system apart from nicotine which is very harmful to the system. These chemicals are carcinogenic and very dangerous to human life.
#5. AVOID EXCESSIVE WORRY.
No one benefits from worrying. Worrying affects your mental health and can even wreak havoc on your physical wellbeing. You can break out of worry by taking care and understanding that life needs patience. And to know that worry does not pay anyone at all.
#6. SLEEP AT LEAST 8 HOURS A DAY.
When sleep-deprived or starved, it damages your health. It is recommended for an adult to sleep at least 8 hours of sleep every day. Reduction of sleeping time will have a catastrophic consequence on your health. Your body needs enough time to rejuvenate and be in good shape. Being sleep-deprived for good hours at night makes you hungrier during the day because there is a release of a hormone responsible for hunger.
#7. ENCOURAGE EARLY MORNING MEDITATION.
Meditation will increase your smartness if you engage in it the right way. Early morning meditation is good because the morning hours are quiet, and good energies are available during those hours to help your meditation.
#8. AVOID ALCOHOL.
Alcohol costs monies, and addictive and can as well lower your inhibition. It also increases your impulsivity.
Save money for other things than alcohol. Alcohol can kill. It affects your liver and can increase your chances of having hepatitis. So make an effort to avoid alcohol.
