About the Company.
The Maternal Newborn and Child Health (MNCH) initiative operates alongside the PRRINN program and focuses on boosting immunization in four Northern Nigerian States. The MNCH program aims to address the unacceptably high rates of newborn morbidity and maternal morbidity and mortality in selected Northern Nigerian States. The Norwegian Government funds this programme in partnership with the UK Department for International Development is operated by a consortium of three organizations, namely Health Partners International UK, Save the Children, UK, and GRID Consulting Nigeria.
Job Description
The Safety and Logistics Officer (SLO) will be based in each of the programme offices. This officer will report directly to the State Team.
The SLO will maintain close relationships with security operatives in the State and LGAs; coordinate logistics activities, including travel arrangements, hotel reservations, booking of venues for workshops, and airport pick-ups; and provide detailed updates on ongoing and proposed program activities in the state as well as weekly and monthly comprehensive security reports to the Chief Safe.

Qualifications for the Safety and Logistics Officer (SLO).
- Interested candidate(s) must hold a degree in management, logistics, or other related disciplines.
- A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role is required for this position.
- A good knowledge of the Northern region and the ability to communicate fluently in the Hausa language is essential for this position. S/he must have good management, interpersonal, and coordination skills. Previous experience in a similar role is mandatory for this position.
